It’s that BOO! time of year!

A family-friendly Halloween costume parade will be held in Fairport on Friday, October 27th starting at 6pm.  All ages are welcome to dress up in their spookiest or loveliest costume and walk in the parade which starts at Johanna Perrin Middle School (Fairport) parking lot and concludes at Potter Park.  Complimentary doughnuts and cider provided by the Fairport Fire Department. Unfortunately, in the event of inclement weather, the activity will be cancelled. Sponsors are Fairport Rotary Club and Perinton Recreation & Parks.

As the warm days turn cooler perhaps you are considering a new hobby?  Can you visualize making a stained glass suncatcher for your home?  Perinton Rec. and Parks is offering a beginners stained glass making class for adults 18 years of age and older.  Choose from a number of designs and learn to cut, fit, foil and solder your project.  Monique Hunter, of Dancing Light Stained Glass Studio will instruct the 4-hour class.  Participants must pre-register, either online or completing the registration sheet
