Music, food, atmosphere, roof deck, full bar. Fairport is in love with this new venue! Located at 5 Lift Bridge Lane, B-Side is a great addition to the many outstanding restaurants/bars on Lift Bridge Lane. B-Side offers a nice assortment of appetizers, from the traditional (chicken tenders; spinach and artichoke dip) to the unexpected – poutine, reuben fritters, fried cheese curds. If you need something a bit more substantial, the small but varied menu of sandwiches, salads, burgers, and paninis promises that every one in your group will find something delicious to eat (vegetarian options as well). The website lists the music schedule (http://fairportbside.com); it appears that live music is offered every night (closed Sunday and Monday). This is a great new addition to Fairport, especially as the weather is warming and that roof side deck is beckoning!
Tony’s Shoe Repair has been fixing heels, shoes, handbags and luggage for nearly 80 years. At 66 N. Tony’s also sells orthotics, will repair zippers, bags, jackets and luggage, and, can repair/perk up those UGGS that are still so popular.
Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5:30-8:30pm, enjoy live music, food trucks and a beverage (wine, beer, sangria) on Casa Larga’s front patio. No better view in the County – check out the beauty of the vineyards while listening to great music and enjoying local wine and food. $10 admission. The website carries the schedule of bands and food trucks.
Just recently, the 5-year old Bistro at Towpath Café, received its full liquor license. This restaurant enjoys a prime location on the Erie Canal. A canal-side deck and indoor space allow for dining any time of the year. The addition of the full liquor license adds another layer to the existing menu of beer and wine, as mixed drinks are now available. The restaurant is located at 6 North Main St., Fairport, serves lunch and dinner daily.
