Fresh bread made on the premises is where it starts for these fantastic DiBella submarine sandwiches. DiBella’s is located in the Perinton Square Mall, next to the Hallmark store (6720 Pittsford-Palmyra Rd.) Parking is easy, the baking ovens greet you as soon as you walk in, and the attentive, friendly staff is ready to make your fresh, delicious sub. You start by choosing your bread (sesame, multigrain, everything or plain), meat choices are abundant (some say their meat ball sub is their best), and don’t forget a chocolate chip cookie (you’ll be sorry if you do). Eat in or take out, DiBella’s is an outstanding choice for a casual lunch, dinner or snack!
Hungry? Need food fast? Fairport Hots is your ticket. Famous for their “Plates” (choice of burger, cheeseburger or hot dog smothered in one or two sides – home fries, French fries, mac salad or baked beans), Fish Fry and homemade meat hot sauce. Their menu is large and diverse, including salads, grilled chicken, roast beef and the all-important “plates”. The counter service is friendly, helpful and speedy. With a new dining area that now seats up to 50, Fairport Hots, open until 2am (3am Thursday thru Sat.) will remedy your hunger pains.
On the outskirts of Fairport, Grayson’s Inn is tucked next to the Eagle Vale Golf Course. Grayson’s has a large bar area with comfortable and pleasing dining areas on either side of the bar. The dinner menu has a range of offerings, not abundant, but this is definitely a “fine dining” establishment, given the prices. The restaurant has a warm, intimate, comfortable vibe and the wait staff and bar staff get praise from on-online reviews. Give this one a try—a great special occasion choice.
Pizza, and a whole lot more! This pizzeria has been family owned since 1985 and continually is voted one of Perinton’s favorite pizzas. With a sizeable dining area you can enjoy the range of menu items offered: salads, appetizers, chicken wings, sandwiches (both wraps and submarine), calzones, plates, burgers, pizza, Italian dinners as well as seafood. Take-out is available. Located at 7374 Pittsford-Palmyra Rd. in the Town Center Plaza, parking is abundant.

Winter is a great time to clean out that “stuff” that accumulates throughout the year(s). Rather than throw it in the garbage, consider donating those craft supplies to CRAFT BITS & PIECES, a quality craft supply and home décor resale shop in Fairport. They accept all kids of craft supplies, new and old -- everything related to sewing and quilting; seasonal decorations; home décor items such as pictures and frames; greeting cards, and more. Their adorable website, http://craftbitsandpieces.com/, contains more donation ideas. All profits go to the Fairport/Perinton Senior Living Council, which in turn supports Senior Options for Independence (SOFI) and Elderbus Transportation programs. The store is located in Fairport at 138 Fairport Village Landing.
